Wexford County Council Environment Awards 2007

The Parish had wonderful success at this year's County Council Environment Awards ceremony in securing First Prize in the Most Environmentally Aware Village Section. A beautiful plaque and cheque for €400 was presented to members at the Awards ceremony in Ferrycarrig Hotel in November.

Congratulations to Scoil Mhuire, Broadway, on securing their Second Green Flag at the same awards ceremony.

All Ireland Skills Awards

Congratulations to Eamon Maloney, Airdownes, on winning First Prize in the Sheet Metalwork Section at the National Final of the 2008 Department of Education & Science National Skills Competition.
