Introduction To Our Lady’s Island

Our Lady’s Island is an ancient place of pilgrimage in the south east corner of Ireland in the diocese of Ferns. Thank you for visiting our website.

Covering a large area of the south east corner of Ireland, Our Lady’s Island parish includes many other
townlands: Carne, Carnsore, Churchtown, St. Margaret’s, St. Helen’s, Broadway and Tacumshane.

It has two churches, the Church of the Assumption, the Parish Church, and the church of St. Catherine (of Alexandria) in Tacumshane a few miles away.

For ordering books in  the “Wood You Believe” series, and for full details of seminars and retreats, please visit Fr Jim Cogley’s personal website.  You can also use Our Lady’s Island Facebook page to access daily reflections and Sunday homilies.
